This place is different !! After watching the progress of the GAP Trail since its original days of formation, we wanted to give the adventurous long haul bikers something more than just a spot along the river to pitch a tent. We have been camping and enjoying the great outdoors ourselves for over 40 years. So that is why we built GapTrail campground....designed for your COMFORT and to cater to only serious long haul bikers on the GAP. Come on in and enjoy everything we have for you ! Why Us?

West Newton is a friendly and dynamic Trail Town with everything you need !! We will treat you the way we would wanted to be treated as campers........and to provide you with some luxurious accommodations that you might not expect to find at a trail bikers only campground.

In the event of rain or cool Fall weather, NO WORRIES, we've got you COVERED !! You can stay warm and dry in our fully enclosed Lobby/Pavillion with FREE morning coffee to get you started and cold water to keep you going !

Please RELAX & ENJOY our Zen-Like Hobbit Showers....... you have to see them for yourself. The perfect way to wind down your day of hard pedaling with endless flowing and cascading HOT water. Nope, there are no damp concrete, old fashioned camp showers here. Welcome to GAP Trail bliss ! We also have plenty of outlets to charge your phone or eBike.

Then you can EASILY walk to all the bars and restaurants in Trail Town West Newton from our campground for food and brew. HAPPY HOUR and dinner is definitely waiting for YOU in West Newton !
